Hundreds Protest Sarah Palin’s Rally in Carson!

This morning I learned that Sarah Palin was scheduled to be at the Home Depot Center in Carson. For those that don’t know Carson is next door to Compton! My first thought was “dog on it” …why is Sarah Palin in my back yard?

That folksie double talk and side stepping questions, is unacceptable in these parts. (wink)

The hardworking middle class majority Democrat folks around here, see straight through the McCain (McSame) Palin (Palies) campaign.

I cannot imagine Sarah Palin being welcomed here under any set of circumstances.

Why would they even come into known Obama/Biden territory?

Wake Up America!

My friends thought I was nuts last year when I shared my enthusiasm for outspoken Dennis Kucinich. I think his Wake Up America speech shows exactly why I have so much love for him and hopefully woke some folks up.

Dennis Kucinich’s Speech at the Democratic National Convention:

It’s Election Day 2008. We Democrats are giving America a wake-up call. Wake up, America. In 2001, the oil companies, the war contractors and the neo-con artists seized the economy and have added 4 trillion dollars of unproductive spending to the national debt. We now pay four times more for defense, three times more for gasoline and home heating oil and twice what we paid for health care.

The American Occupation of Iraq

No End In Sight Opens In Select Theaters July 27th
NO END IN SIGHT alternates between U.S. policy decisions and Iraqi consequences, systematically dissecting the Bush Administration’s decisions. The consequences of those decisions now include 3,000 American deaths and 20,000 American wounded, Iraq on the brink of civil war, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilian deaths, the strengthening of Iran, the weakening of the U.S. military, and economic costs of over $2 trillion. It marks the first time Americans will be allowed inside the White House, Pentagon, and Baghdad’s Green Zone to understand for themselves what has become the disintegration of Iraq.
