GROCERY SALE-TELL A FRIEND

Tue, 29th September, 2009 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (0) Comment

I received this email from sister in law Janelle enjoy:

Treasure Box is a company that helps families/individuals stretch their money during these tough economic times by offering a prepackaged box of groceries.  You pay $30 for approximately $100 worth of food!

Each box contains 21-25 pounds of high quality, frozen foods including chicken, pork, beef or seafood, in addition to vegetables, fruit, a side dish and a dessert. From my understanding, the menu items change monthly.

While some of you may not be struggling or interested in this option, there are tons of families that are, so please pass the information on, as you never know someone else’s circumstances.

I Believe

Fri, 20th February, 2009 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (48) Comment

Got this via email forward from my life long friend Shonda! enjoy :)

I Believe…

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born.

A Death Certificate shows that we died Pictures show that we lived!

Have a seat . . . Relax . . . And read this slowly.

I Believe… That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do love each other.

I Believe… That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

Check Your Child’s Homework

I got this funny email forward and thought it might make you laugh enjoy! (Thanks for sharing this one Shonda)

Subject: Fw: Check Your Child’s Homework

This is a parentʼs reply to the teacher regarding a homework assignment

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn’t show me dancing around a pole. It’s supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

When Are We Going To Get Over It?

Fri, 16th January, 2009 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (2) Comment

I received this thought provoking and perhaps controversial article via email forward today. I say controversial because I’m certain some will object to the opinions expressed. No matter where you stand on the issue the author certainly provides some serious food for thought. Looking forward to your thoughts on the subject. Thanks for sharing this Coach Ace.

The Mountain Top: Five Historic Days

Wed, 7th January, 2009 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (0) Comment

I received this heads up via email from my friend Shannon:

WENS-TV, is producing Internet video for five days from Washington, DC, featuring stories, events and people around the inauguration of Barack Obama. The video is available by subscription. It will tell stories that mainstream media may not likely cover. It will present features about the people who sacrificed to make the pilgrimmage for this once-in-a-lifetime, historic event. Just a variety of things you will likely want to see but won’t likely see anywhere else. The link where you can subscribe is listed below. And if you have friends, family and other associates who accept your e-mail submissions, please tell them about the production. Here are details:

White Woman’s Opinion of Black Women

Sun, 28th December, 2008 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (31) Comment

I received this via email forward this morning and my jaw dropped!  All I’ll say is wow and can’t wait for your thoughts on this topic.

A little long but well worth the read.

Enjoy.

It seems that an article was written to Sister 2 Sister magazine by a Caucasian woman who requested a response from black men. I’m so glad she got what she asked for (and more) !!!

Dear Jamie:

I’m sorry but I would like to challenge some of your Black male readers.

The Buzzard, The Bat and The Bumblebee

Tue, 28th October, 2008 - Posted by Living Life Abundantly - (13) Comment

I love this forward enjoy…

THE BUZZARD:
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open
at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an
absolute prisoner.

The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground
with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it
will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small
jail with no top.
