Wow, time really flies and not just when you’re having fun. It seems like just yesterday that I was singing Christmas Carols clicking my heels thinking St. Nick would have my back. There must’ve been a mix up or some confusion. I know the North pole is extremely understaffed after all the layoffs…Unemployment in the North Pole is up to like what 80% ?

Operation Get A Plane Ticket To DC Complete!
The plane ticket to DC was purchased this morning and proof of itinerary was confirmed and received by my local US Representatives office.
I am going to the inauguration yayyyy! God is Good.
Thank you to everyone that sent words of encouragement and offered to help make sure that I’m able to take part in this historic event. I will cover my journey, take lots of pics, and video. I’m so excited, thankful, and overjoyed.

Guess Who Got A Ticket To The Inauguration But Needs A Plane Ticket!
It will be an honor and privilege to attend the 2009 Presidential Inauguration and share the experience on this blog.
Those that read Living Life Abundantly and those that know me personally, know how involved I was with the campaign from volunteering, to rallying, to blogging, to emailing, to calling, to registering people to vote, and so on.

It’s that time of year again, the holiday season is upon us. I wrote a letter to Santa last year. I’m glad I did. Santa didn’t bring everything on the list, but I did get #3 and #4 from last year’s list.»
Once again I’m posting my list here because I know how much Santa enjoys reading my blog, so its impossible for this to go unnoticed.

When ever I play the lottery (which is rare, I only play when the jackpot is huge), I always believe that I have the winning ticket. I can’t possibly be the only person that thinks that way. People buy lottery tickets because they hope and even expect to win, right?
Anyhoo…the other day I heard the lottery was up to 30 million. I thought to myself hmmm what would you do with 30 million dollars? My mind raced through a plethora of thoughts.
I bought two tickets, one for Mega Millions and the other for Super Lotto plus.

Some people say, “I don’t like to get my hopes up.”
Nobody likes disappointments and that’s why some people steer clear of having high hopes. Our hopes are our expectations. When we set our expectations low, what then should we expect?
It’s ok to set your hopes and expectations high.
The Law of Expectation
Whatever you expect with confidence tends to materialize in the world around you. You always act in a manner consistent with your expectations, and your expectations influence the attitudes and behaviors of the people around you. —Brian Tracy

The history of pageants in the United States date as far back as the 1920’s. The first Miss America was crowned in 1921. Pageants have been around ever since. Some of the most famous and successful women in the world competed in pageants. While some scoff and dismiss pageants as mere “beauty contests” the truth of the matter is women participating in pageants are usually at the top of their game. They are undeniably beautiful, poised, articulate, and extremely smart… I know some may disagree, considering the Miss Teen South Carolina 2007 debacle (I think it was her nerves, that’s exactly what scares me about entering a pageant).
