Get More Exercise and Active With Everyday Activities

You know exercise is good for you and your health.

Everyone has said “I will do it tomorrow” then “Maybe the day after”. Doing exercise in the gym or sport activities can be attempted by anyone, but the temptation not to is everywhere.

There are many other options to get more active, why not try the following.

1)Run after the kids around the yard. This form of activity takes alot of energy, more than you think. Also the time will fly because you are having fun and spending more time with your children. A win win situation for everyone involved.

2) Plant Flowers in the garden when the weather is nice. Or you could start a little vegetable garden, trim some hedges, cut the grass, or plant a tree. Just get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air.

3) Go for a Walk on your own, with your children or friends. Make sure your walk is about 30 minutes in duration.

4) Listen to some Music or an Audio Book on your walk. This will make the time go quicker and keep your mind on something you enjoy listening to.

6) Sign up for a Yoga or Pilates ClassConsider starting a yoga or Pilates class. Both of these workouts are pretty low impact and won’t leave you sweaty and sore (mostly). You may also enjoy meeting some new people in the class.

6) Start Dance Lessons with your Partner. Dancing is very active, fun and romantic. The choice for different dance types is massive, you will find a dance type you enjoy.

7) Swimming is great exercise and easy on your joints. Start by swimming a few laps, or go with your children for fun.
8) Get the Bike out. You can ride through your neighborhood in the evenings or plan a longer trip for the weekend with the family.

9) Go Hikeing. Look for some hiking trails in your area and go for a hike. Start with some easy trails and work yourself up to some longer or steeper trails.

Find something you enjoy, so you will keep doing it. Get out there and enjoy yourself.

Get Fit and Healthy with Fun Family Methods

At some point in your life you have done the gym, various sports or activities. But you start with the killer instinct of “This time I am going to do it” or “Yes I will do this everyday or at least three times a week”. But your temptations to do over things take over.
