Criminal Justice Career Day
May 23, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the newly constructed University Student Union. The purpose of Criminal Justice Career Day is to give students an opportunity to learn about opportunities and careers with law enforcement agencies and other industries that hire criminal justice majors. This is also a great venue for your organization to meet with hundreds of students majoring in Criminal Justice.
During the Criminal Justice Career Day event, employers will have an opportunity to display information about their company as well as meet with hundreds of student to discuss current and future opportunities with your organization. Seeking 40 interviewers to complete a door-to-door survey of residents in the Crenshaw area from Tuesday, May 15 through Saturday, May 19. Interviewers MUST attend training on Tuesday, May 15 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Then interviewers must be available on May 16 through May 19 to work from about 11 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interviewers will be paid $11 an hour or a total of $396 total for this work, minus payroll tax deductions.
