Are YOU Quick To Assassinate What You Do Not Understand?

Erykah Badu‘s lastest video “Window Seat” has certainly generated some controversy. Some people are offended by the idea that she would choose to express individualism via public nudity…while others applaud her boldness. I’m not sure exactly why people find it so offensive when there is far worse pointless garbage polluting our tv and computer screens.

We are so quick to judge and criticize…so eager to assassinate what we do not understand. If we take the time to really try to understand what this artist is saying…if we try to see where she’s coming from…perhaps the outrage would change to something much different. Appreciation? Maybe?
