Today as I read through the status updates on Facebook…a post from my friend Ghalee caught my attention. His status update was about a guy on ESPN referring to Dr. Martin Luther King as Martin Luther COON.
This was no slip of the tongue. COON and King are in no way, shape, or form similar in sound…. not even as off-rhymes. I know some will be quick to come to Mike & Mike’s defense with tons of excuses…none of which will be acceptable. It was intentional. If it wasn’t intentional it was obviously on his mind, perhaps he didn’t intend to actually speak it out loud…

This is certainly unacceptable and will no doubt cause a backlash against Mike and Mike's stupidity. They need to offer an apology, and quickly.

I saw this video before it was taken down and i think he may have just misspoke and just jumped fromthe k in king to the un in junior.
He might be a racist with all kinds of racist thoughts in his head but I wouldn't brand him one from a slip of the tongue.
Does he have any more overt racial incidents on his resume?
