Once you understand that crunches and leg raises are not going to help you lose the fat around your middle and that lowering your percentage body fat through a balanced diet will help you develop a ripped set of six pack abs, the sooner you'll be on your way to the body you want.

    You really can't just do leg-raises and crunches to remove the stomach fat, you will need to do cardio workout. It's the best and works fastest, no doubt.

  5. You can do Abs workout all day long but the truth is that 90% of success is Diet, and you can't lose fat localy by doing abs exercises, you have to stick to cardio+abs exercises

    I really needed to lose fat from my belly and it helped when I changed my diet before i tried to gain muscle. Like you say if the fat is over the muscle and you build more muscle then the final appearance will not be what I am looking for.

    Lose fat from the belly and then gain muscle and I am on the road to the six pack abs I (and my girlfriend :) ) want!

    The most important in getting six pack abs is that you have to think about quality over quantity.

    What do I mean by this? Do not do the same exercise a million time until you are exhausted. Instead make small reps and use several exercises during your training routine.
