Growing up as a small kid in Ketchikan, Alaska, there isn’t much to do. So one of the favorite things for people to do (especially if you’re bigger) is to pick on the little guy for entertainment. Now it can come from family, friends, and at school. I sure went through all of the above, I was probably about 100 lbs soaking wet, and graduated at a paltry 110 lbs (if I was lucky). So I got the bullying from everywhere. Home, school, work, you name it, the bully found me. So I grew up with an appreciation for what it means to be a bullying victim.
Thats why the show Bully Beatdown is so interesting to me. Being a victim of several bullies at home and school gave me the basic nerd dream, of some day watching my enemies go down hard. Its a nerds dream. Many bullies love to abuse their power, especially when their big. The 2nd episode Bully Beatdown was no different, his guy was at least 64 and 250 and he was picking on his roommates (usually not a good idea, but he was doing it anyway). They (the victims) were two guys of average size, you know, 156 to 180 maybe, definitely not in his league, and didnt look like they knew how to fight. So they did what any self respecting nerd would do, they called MTV and Jason Mayhem Miller to exact revenge. After much goading, the bully did accept the match, and got a pounding from ex NFL/pro MMA fighter Michael Westbrook. Who gave the bully the pounding that every bully deserves, he TKOd him in the 2nd with vicious right crosses (pretty much his only weapon after knocking the bully silly with his left hook), and also submitting him 4 times in the first, giving the bully only a total of $1,000 dollars out of the $10,000 dollars possible, the rest going to the victims of the bullying.
What can you learn from Bully Beatdown? A little training goes a long way, Im pretty highly trained in MMA/grappling, and I know that the MMA fighters were taking it easy on the Bully (who are just street fighters with no art). The bully gets thrown around and knocked out every time (both shows I watched, the bully couldnt last the 2nd round and was in trouble right from the start.) In a fist fight with a bully, it wouldnt take that much to win, especially on the ground (who might watch the UFC a little, but still know nothing about MMA). Only in the 2nd episode did I see any advanced grappling, and it was because it was there, and the practioner couldnt help themselves but to finish the move. Bullys the same size or less, will lose to you, if you have some training (it doesnt have to be a whole lot).
The other thing you can do is intimidate, and how would you do that with a bully? If you havent met them yet, Id wear around your school affiliation shirt that will keep a lot of them off you. Thats winning a fight before you get into it, if they think you can possibility hurt them, they probably wont attack you, because it would be very embarrassing to lose to someone they are supposed to beat up. Youll also garner respect from the populace, because most of the populace only wears the shirts, they dont do the training. And youll have back up, fighters hand out with and back up other fighters, especially inside their own camps.
So if youre ready to impress girls, be fitter, have more self confidence, and give bullies nightmares, just follow the instructions in this article and remember to watch MTV’s Bully Beatdown for some cathartic fun. If you’ve got a bully pressing you now, then I’d get started on the steps Ive already outlined above, if you can do what I’ve told you, then the bully will fear you in no time, and youll find youre getting more dates, more jobs (from the self confidence), and more perk from life, because youve earned it.

Yea, the show is pretty funny. After a few episodes it did start getting a bit more of the same though.. They should try some different things too.
Wouldnt it be funny to put the bullies through some gruesome MMA training by some UFC fighters..
Yup, repetative it is. I loved the episode with Thomas "Wildman" Denny, though
looks like fun, will try this.
