Managing Mnire’s Disease

Many people have inquired if the Vertigo and Dizziness Program can be effective for Mnire’s Disease. The program is extremely effective for Vertigo and Dizziness so I would now like to address Mnire’s.

First, it’s important to undertand that vertigo is not actually a disease. It is a symptom normally caused by other illnesses including Mnire’s.

Becasue vertigo is hard to link back to a specific problem, it is often times mistaken for a disease.

The name Mnire’s originates from the physician Prosper Mnire. It is an inner ear disorder which can cause episodes of vertigo, nausea and/or vomiting, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear and hearing loss.

Episodes can be exhausting and may last from two to fours hours. The time in between attacks has some feeling perfectly fine while others still battle balance problems.

“Drop Attacks” may also occur in which the person feels that they are tilting or falling (even though they are standing straight.) That then prompts the person to react and can cause severe injuries.

Rarely can a specific cause for Mnire’s be determined. The goal with it then is to at least manage the disease. Most sufferers are over the age of 40.

A medical history along with hearing tests and the exclusion of other conditions may result in a Mnire’s diagnosis. Normally blood tests and and MRI will also be involved to rule out other potential problems.

A low sodium diet can help prevent the build up of fluid in the ear, and it is suggested to avoid alcohol, smoking and caffeine.

Reducing stress can help as it can be a trigger. Deep breathing and yoga are often prescribed.

Some medications may help, but they nearly always come with side effects (diuretics, antihistamines and steroids.)

For drop attacks that cant be helped by other means, inner ear surgery is sometimes done. It does not cure the Mnire’s, however, and any surgery has associated risks.

Another effective and all natural treatment is my Vertigo and Dizziness Program. It is proven very effective without the risks of medicine and surgery.

  1. Unfortunately there isn't a cure for Meniere's disease but with proper diet and medication it can be controlled.
