The existence and importance of the spiritual being within the physical being, in the minds of individuals is reducing because of modern science.

The Hindu thoughts of life are dissimilar, since they encourage the burning flame of spiritual healing along with the advancement of modern science and technology.

The word Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning Wheel of Light. Our bodies include seven primary Chakras and a multitude of secondary chakras. These Chakras stay in a constant state of vibrating rotations inside a healthy body.

Any type of imbalance in the movement of the chakras it may result in an overall state of imbalance that hinders the healthy functioning of a body. Achieving chakra balancing is imperative for encouraging a healthy spirit, mind and body.

Chakras are the centers of activity that receives, integrates and expresses life-force energy. They are the Entry Gates to the human Aura. They are located along the midline of the body from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The seven main Chakras absorb and transmit energies back and forth into the universe, nature, celestial entities, and from other individuals.

What changes Chakra Balancing?

When any one chakra or more incur a blockage there is not harmonious energy flow. Blockages cause the chakras to incur imbalance. These imbalances then begin making themselves know in other areas of our lives.

There are various reasons that the harmonious functioning of the charkas occur. These reasons may include but are not limited to emotional injuries, childhood trauma, exposure to toxins, stress, various aliments as well as a lack of exercise of a poor choice in diet, the inability to express the emotions, cultural conditioning and any beliefs contrasting with Truth and so forth.

Although, it is admirable to consider that chakras can function naturally in harmony, however it is impractical. In order to correct any dysfunctions, many people do try to correct this by achieving a fine balance of the chakras. One theory, which finds its foundation in chakra balancing, is that of self-healing.

The condition of our chakras will influence our body shape, our thoughts and behaviors as well as our glandular processes and any recurring ailments we may suffer. Chakra balancing helps our body to work towards achieving a healthier mind, spirit and body.

Everyday, on an unconcious level, perhaps more concious for those who practise yoga and meditation, we are looking for balance. The colours we choose to wear, or the colours we want to surround ourselves with, or perhaps shy away from, often reflect an inner choice we are making. Learning about the way colour relates to our chakra centres gives us valuable insight. Insight, inner awareness and reflection are achieved through a meditative way of living our ordinary lives.

Meditation involves listening and being attentive to what we do and say. Inner reflection. By careful listening to our intuition, our inner teacher, we learn what can help us to have more balance and harmony in our lives. If we develop these qualities, we automatically help others around us, including our pets.
