Tooth whitening toothpaste is a great idea, and over time can remove gentle stains from your teeth. You are hopefully brushing your teeth at least twice per day anyway, but will this give you a bright white smile with gleaming teeth? Perhaps not, which is why you may need to consider a tooth whitening gel kit – which you can actually get for free.
Teeth whitening gel kits are required to give you teeth a boost every now and again to give you a gleaming smile. The whitening paste if used regularly will then extend the times between treatments with gel kits or trips to expensive dental teeth whitening clinics.
My preferred method of tooth whitening is to use one of the new teeth whitening swabs which you use to apply directly to the teeth. In just 6 days you will see fantastic results and you can get a kit to try for free.
Here’s how it works: Each Teeth Whiten Tips system comes with a 6-day supply of disposable applicator swabs filled with a liquid formula, and a separate jar of whitening powder. The jar contains gentle, stabilized Magnesium Peroxide (whitener) and Aluminum Trihydroxide (polisher) that is “activated” by the formula-filled swabs.
The polish agent will remove stains harmlessly and to great effect. The beauty of using the swabs is that you cannot apply too much of the chemical or too much of the polish. They are a great way of whitening your teeth without the need to measure out any chemicals or wrestle with strips.
If you haven’t tried the tooth whitening kits swabs before then they are available online, but always use a trusted supplier. Just to make sure they are of a high quality.

I agree , my teeth are always white , but I do need to touch them up now and then (smoking coffee etc), acheap at home top up kit is just the job, and it doesn't take long!
And it is not just yellowing , it is also some times the horrible brown stain in between the edges on the bottom row , that just won't shift, what is that? It looks so dirty, I bought a sonicare for that alone (I had an oral b electric) but it still won't go , I think it might be tea staining (english)!
Anyways , great stuff!

I was searching for this tooth advice on this all day.I am glad I found you on google. I bookmarked your blog! I’ll be back to read more of you blogs in the near future.
Hi Paul, I've found that home teeth whitening kits can vary massively with how effective they are. I've tested a handful out over the past 6 months or so, so I could post the results on my site. Obviously there is still nothing better than going to a Dentist, but a couple of the kits I tried came close.
I love your blog and your advice. I still think Usmile is the best alternative to going to the dentist. Laser is definitely the best but there is something that seems wrong about pointing a laser to your head.
The best whitening kit that my patients have used and liked is Crest. They say it's effective and also is a fair price. I would always recommend going to the dentist (of course I'm biased), but I just thought I would get my patients' voices out there.
I found that most whitening tooth pastes are abrasive and can damage teeth over time. It's like brushing with fine sand paper. Over the years you can develop problems. And the amount they whiten is so minimal, it is not worth it.
