Many people live by default unwilling to accept responsibility for the circumstances of their lives or their environment. I’ve heard and seen the mantra “2009 IS MINE” over and over. If 2009 is yours, what are you doing differently from what you did in 2008? Remember, to do the same things expecting different results is insanity!
What if I told you that you could drastically improve the quality of your life, the life of those around you, and your environment by simply controlling your emotions, using the power of prayer, and by thinking the right thoughts? If your life is 'your fault' if it could be better, it's also to your credit if it's going well, and that's cause for hope in my opinion. The problem is that some people are unwilling to accept responsibility for their lives until things start going really well!
The way to pick yourself up is independent of whether you happen to be doing well or not right now. It's all about attitude, and that has to transcend what the scoreboard says at this particular moment….

Ever since I took my destiny into my own hands, things have gotten better. No matter what was placed before me, I always found a way to go through it, over it, under it or around it. "2009 is mine"? Cute. People should be thinking further than 2009.

This is very correct. We should stop blaming others for our own misery. We are responsible and we alone can help ourselves. Nothing absolutely nothing may abuse us if we don't want them to abuse us in the first place.

I tried this thing too many times, but it looses momentum after 2 or 3 days. I try to keep myself refrain from negative thoughts, but after 2 or 3 days of positive thinking, again my mind starts thinking about my past (the bad experiences of my past). what should I do?

Competently its our faults, But not in all the cases. Your video is really interesting and giving thinks to go in positive manner.
When you realize is not them is you, trauma sets in, but then again if it is you yo can do something about it.

If your life sucks, is it your fault?? hmm.. good question, but I may say, not necessary… many people have bad luck in life and that they have a bad life doesn't mean that they took all wrong choices, sometimes like sucks, and you can't do anything against it…
Marenda i totaly agree with you. A friend came to me last night and he was just complaining how his life sucks how he tried anything to change it, him he doesen't have luck in life. I tried to explain him that he has to think positively and positively thing will happen to him. And i gave him examples from my life, when i was positive that certain things will happen they just happen. I gave him like 10 of those examples. He just said you have luck in your life. It's imposible to help those people
