U Grow Girl! On the Move

1 Year and Still Going Strong!

This past September marked 1 year since starting our U Grow Girl! group in Compton. We celebrated in style and met with the ladies of U Grow Girl! from San Pedro, Inglewood, and Los Angeles for tea.  We had a wonderful time and our Tea was actually featured in the Inglewood Today newspaper!

Here’s a photo montage of our Tea!

Together we have grown so much in just a years time. With each meeting we are all inspired to do more to reach our maximum potential.

U Grow Girl!In our meeting last week we discussed and acknowledged our growth in our individual areas of opportunity. We identified situations that stretched us out of our comfort zones and marked significant changes we’ve made to live our lives more abundantly.

We have one more meeting left for 2008 and I’m certain it will be a powerful one that will no doubt catapult us into even more welcomed growth in 2009. I see a Spa Day and weekend retreat in our future :) Our focus for our next meeting is:

The Law of Opportunity:
Your greatest possibilities will often come from the most common situations around you. Your biggest opportunity probably lies under your own feet…” —Brian Tracy

POOR= Passing On Opportunities Repeatedly

“Your Future Depends On…”
Who you will be in the next 5 years depends on 3 things: the books you read. the people you meet. The choices you make. —15min Money Manager

Congratulations on your first of many years of success and abundance. Looks like it was a great tea party.

That is pretty cool that you were recognized in the Inglewood paper. I checked out the ugrowgirl site too. It has to be pretty cool to be in on something on the ground floor like this, because I see a lot of potential in it.

BTW, I had never heard that definition of poor before, but I like it.
