I agree that it was nice to see both of them show their lighter side. Seems like things have gotten a bit serious as of late, but I still think that they are a far cry from how ugly I have seen some other campaigns. The last election seemed worse to me in terms of mud slinging.

I agree, someone with humor is able to bring things better. Now, let´s hope the next prezzident… will be one that has intentions to do good and has at least more competence than the one in the seat right now…

This roast was really funny. I expected Obama to be somewhat funny but McCain did an amazing job too.

I too thought that both candidates did a good job. Really though, the more I see Obama, the more impressed I am. I think he is the smartest person to run for one of the two main parties in a very long time.

In regards to Irish’s comment, perhaps this campaign might not be the ugliest, in so far as personal attacks go, but it is one of the most dishonest campaigns to be held in a very long time. In large part on Mccain’s side.

Laughter is always the best medicine

Both did a good job being funny. Porch Lifts did have to add a snide remark. You got it right – except it has been Obama who has ran a really nasty campaign.

i agree that the two candidates were pretty funny… we need a president that can make us laugh because the world is packed with enough problems, every once in a while we need a good laugh to forget about the problems for a bit and oh yeah to keep our sanity…

It is fun to see a lighter side to politics. I couldn’t get the Obama one to work though, so I’m sad I missed his speech. McCain seemed to enjoy attacking anyone and everyone around him, it seems like a low blow to me.

We now know what McCains future career will be if he loses. :p

Yeah i agree as well. Sometimes it’s to tiring if you will always think or do your work. we must have time to relax and have fun. this will help our mind relax and free from stress. so if we get back to work we have a fresh mind and we can think a lot better.

Humor is that glue that keeps us together, and keeps the country together. If we couldn’t laugh at the stresses of the economy and of the election, there’d be a lot more problems than the poor economy.

It’s a relief both of them got showed their lighter side. Politics is politics, but it got to a point where it was getting out of control. We all know they are only human, but campaigning gotten the worst of them. Fun times over. Back to business.

Hi Guys,
It is good to have a laughing president but it i would be still better if any of these gentle men can address our credit crisis as well as agony of unfortunate people who lost millions of dollars by putting their money in banks as well as thousands of home losers by such draconian policies crippling our nation.

Hope some one understands our problem rather than only giving lip sympathy to our grave issues.
