Many people opt to go a natural route when finding a cure for their acne problem. This is due not only to healthy nutrition, but also a cheaper route when compared to rising medical costs.
How often will you see a doctor tell you that medicine is not needed to treat a problem? Very rarely I might say. Then again, how many friends do you have that would recommend popping pills for acne? It can leave you confused.
So what are you left to do then? Use medical options along with natural cures. Eat well, keep your nutrition in line and also use chemical treatments if need be, perhaps a lotion or cream.
When it comes to acne, control what you can. This means having lots of vitamins, watching what you eat, drinking lots of water, and cleansing daily. Things such as our genes are not something that we can control, and they may or may not contribute to our acne problem.
A good way to start your day is with a good scrub of the face. Use lots of soap and some hot water. With a washcloth or towel, rub your face and be sure to get any excess guck off. This will cause more acne to build up.
Always remember to keep your skin nice and moist if possible. Dry skin will lead to a buildup of junk over your pores, affecting your acne even more.
If you look at skin and examine it closely, you will find many different layers and functions, all of which play a role in acne.
Acne is only made worse due to sweat buildup throughout the day. Be sure to wash your face before bed each night.
If you wish, look into using Benzoyl Peroxide as well. This cream is used as a cold treatment and helps to get down deep in the pores, freeing them of any clogging.
Foods that contain vitamin B and C help to repair skin which is damaged from acne. They also serve to help reduce the swelling that may occur as a result of many pimples. Keep your nutrition in line and you will keep your acne in line.

Benzoyl Peroxide works on acne but sometimes it is also known to dry out the skin too much. For those with oily skin it should be fine. However, those with very dry or sensitive skin should take some caution when using it.
I always find the taking the natural route to dealing with acne is best. Thanks for the info!
Nice information, thanks.
I liked your article with the tips on how to heal your article. My son had acne and I know how distressing it can be. It is a thing not to be taken lightly.
He found two of your tips about drinking plenty of water per day and watching his diet to be the easiest to implement.

Thanks for the tips, at 40 i am still suffering acne, so any help at all is appreciated.
I like and appreciate your tips. I’ve struggled with both clogged pores and acne most of my adult life.
Those are some good tips. Unfortunately, everyone is different when it comes to responding to acne treatments so it can take time to find the right solution.
I think the natural approach is always the best. So many people have tried every medication out there with no results. In really severe cases laser acne treatment might be worth a shot. It's expensive, but a lot of people are swearing by the results they're getting.
greatt tips. I'm always a fan of natrual treatments.
wow, nice tips… thank you
Thanks for the great tips. I'll try them out and see if it will help.
Thanks for the tips Alyssa!
I've always known that acne is caused by some kind of internal imbalance. Natural remedies should always be tried first before any kind of medicine or facial creams.

Thanks for the tips. It's a good thing to try and fight off acne naturally and without medication at first, but sadly, there are severe cases that may require medical intervention. It can be a little tricky to find the http://www.acne-support-group.com“target=”_blank”> best acne treatment for yourself.
You are so right about the doctors always giving you medicine for everything, which of course is not cheap. And should you mention anything about alternative, natural medicine how they frown upon those.
Natural products are nice, very healthy and safe. I'm happy to know those natural treatments.

One of the ways that we (my doctor and I) attacked acne was to go after using a combination of exercise, dieting and skin creams.
Nothing had worked before so we moved to a skin cream that worked decent in the past and combined it with working out followed by long hot showers (steamrooms are the best) and then using the cream right afterwards. This would open the pours and allow for the cream to get in deeper.
The dieting also helped because we found foods that would cause outbreaks and shied away from them. After about three months I was nearly acne free.

I firmly believe in holistic treatments. Acne meds have a lot of bad side effects. I had horrible results with Accutane. Here is a good list of home remedies: http://axetheacne.com/acne_home_remedies.php
Great post. It is so much better when you can find natural remedies rather than harsh chemicals.
