Many people opt to go a natural route when finding a cure for their acne problem. This is due not only to healthy nutrition, but also a cheaper route when compared to rising medical costs.

How often will you see a doctor tell you that medicine is not needed to treat a problem? Very rarely I might say. Then again, how many friends do you have that would recommend popping pills for acne? It can leave you confused.

So what are you left to do then? Use medical options along with natural cures. Eat well, keep your nutrition in line and also use chemical treatments if need be, perhaps a lotion or cream.

When it comes to acne, control what you can. This means having lots of vitamins, watching what you eat, drinking lots of water, and cleansing daily. Things such as our genes are not something that we can control, and they may or may not contribute to our acne problem.

A good way to start your day is with a good scrub of the face. Use lots of soap and some hot water. With a washcloth or towel, rub your face and be sure to get any excess guck off. This will cause more acne to build up.

Always remember to keep your skin nice and moist if possible. Dry skin will lead to a buildup of junk over your pores, affecting your acne even more.

If you look at skin and examine it closely, you will find many different layers and functions, all of which play a role in acne.

Acne is only made worse due to sweat buildup throughout the day. Be sure to wash your face before bed each night.

If you wish, look into using Benzoyl Peroxide as well. This cream is used as a cold treatment and helps to get down deep in the pores, freeing them of any clogging.

Foods that contain vitamin B and C help to repair skin which is damaged from acne. They also serve to help reduce the swelling that may occur as a result of many pimples. Keep your nutrition in line and you will keep your acne in line.
