Realistically due to our differences, there is no magic “pill” to losing pregnancy weight. Life is what you make it so make the decision to start and commit to getting back in shape by living a healthy lifestyle. Here are some simple steps to help you on your way to a higher quality of life.
The joy of having a baby and being a new mom can be quickly overshadowed by, amongst other things, losing the pregnancy weight. And it doesn’t help your self-esteem either to compare yourself to the Celebrity mom, sister or B.F.F. who quickly returned into their pre-baby body within a few months.
So, what is the fastest way to losing pregnancy weight without the advantage of having your own Momtourage like the Celebs? What may work for your friend or sister may not work for you. The trick is to find and use what works for you.
1. Workout Throughout and Following Your Pregnancy
As long as you have be given clearance from you doctor, you can start having fun and getting fit by signing up for a yoga or relaxation class for pregnant women. Low impact exercises like swimming or walking prepares your body to quickly lose the baby fat after giving birth. Frequent workouts will help you in losing the majority of your pregnancy weight within 2 months or longer depending on your body.
2. Breastfeeding
For many mothers, losing pregnancy weight can be fast and easy with just breastfeeding. But not all women have such luck. A nursing mom can burn approximately 500 calories every time they breastfeed. Breastfeeding also keeps a mom conscious about eating a nutrient rich diet and staying hydrated. However you choose to feed your baby, the message is simple: maintain good eating habits for better health for you and your baby.
3. Montior your Pregnancy Weight
Being pregnant is not a “free pass” to go a head and eat whatever you want. Have you noticed that the Celeb moms only gain “baby weight” during their pregnancy? The logic is that if you gain a healthy pregnancy weight, the more quickly you’ll be losing pregnancy weight because most of it will be the baby and the placenta. Check in with your doctor to find out your recommended weight gain and don’t go over it.
4. Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
If you can live healthy lifestyle for your baby, you can continue living healthy to lose the pregnancy weight for you. This means eating right and staying active. If you are or have been out of shape before and after giving birth, always begin an exercise program with your doctor and take it slow. Eventually you will be able to build up your stamina to complete a regular exercise routine that will help you to losing pregnancy weight in no time. Sticking to a healthy lifestyle will ensure that the weight comes off and stays off.
You can make these nine months count for you and your baby by eating right and exercising daily. So, why stop there? Whether you decide to breastfeed or not, continuing to live a healthy lifestyle after your baby is born will speed up losing the pregnancy weight and keep you looking and feeling great just like a celebrity mom.

Good tips. I have 4 kids and found that the best way to lose weight after pregnancy is to lower my expectations about, well, everything. Babies force you to prioritize–in order to lose weight, I must make exercise a main priority–above my tiredness, above the mountain of laundry, above the dirty dishes. If it is the last thing on your To Do list, you'll never reach your prepregnancy weight.
I dont usually comment, but after reading through so much info I had to say thanks
