13 years later OJ Simpson Found Guilty

I know this might ruffle a few feathers, but I can’t help but wonder if OJ Simpson got a fair trial in Nevada?  It’s ironic that the verdict comes 13 years to the exact day that he was acquitted. Did the jury of mainly women really consider the facts of this case or were they perhaps righting a perceived wrong from the past?

I wonder how he could have gotten a fair trial anywhere in this country when so many people believe he got away with murder.

Some folks will rest easy tonight knowing that OJ Simpson has finally been found guilty of something and now faces life in prison.

Guilty »First-degree kidnapping
Guilty »Robbery with use of a deadly weapon
Guilty »Burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon
Guilty »Coercion with use of a deadly weapon
Guilty »Assault with a deadly weapon
Guilty »Conspiracy to commit kidnapping
Guilty »Conspiracy to commit robbery
Guilty »Conspiracy to commit a crime

I don’t know what OJ Simpson is innocent or guilty of… but he’s clearly made some poor decisions over the years.

I guess he’ll have plenty of time to think about it…

I’m not surprised by the verdict, neither should he be for that matter.

Am I happy that he was found guilty?  No, I do not relish in the misfortune of others.

Am I angry or upset that OJ Simpson was found guilty?  No, Not really.
I just wonder if justice was really served is all…I just wonder if justice was blind…  In so many cases involving every day people, especially and mainly Black people, justice has not been served and was not blind… with that in mind I can’t help but wonder if justice was actually served in this case..

Truthfully, I knew he was going to be convicted as soon as I heard what the jury pool was. In Los Angeles, he get a true jury of his peers; this time around, it wasn’t even close. I don’t even know if they could have asked for the judge to make the decision rather than a jury trial, but it was a slam dunk the day his name was mentioned in regards to the crime.

I’m one of those who believes he didn’t kill anyone 13 years ago, though I’m not going to say he didn’t know anything about it. Still, he hasn’t gone about the rest of his life staying out of trouble, and in the end, though I somewhat understand it, that sense of entitlement, of “what’s mine”, got the best of him. And he showed that he’s not a great judge of character or a great planner either, and, to me, if the way this whole escapade was bungled couldn’t prove to people that he wasn’t such a mensa giant that could have gotten away with killing two people, nothing could.

So, now the story of Juice is over, and the United States can take a big breath that they finally got one over on O.J. And, in a weird way, I get the feeling that he really wanted to go; how odd is that?

OJ’s acquittal 13 years ago was the biggest farce in US legal history. After reviewing the evidence it was painfully clear OJ had committed those murders, but the US craved drama and they got it. OJ has been living like a guilty man ever since he was acquitted, with so much anger and rage in his actions and his eyes. Yes, this was all about race, his peers felt sorry for him for his race. What they failed to see was he was not a true representative of the black race, nor any race for that matter. OJ was in a race of only a few percent of the American people, he was a celebrity (which transends race greatly). But at the end of the day race won out, as his peers and the public cried racism, in the shadow of a mountain of evidence. just look at the facts and especially the circumstantial evidence. come on, what kind of person jumps in their car and drives around like a mad man when they here the police want to talk to them? especially a man at that time held on a pedestal of sports stardom.

Compare to Scott Peterson, who was found guilty of murdering his wife and sentenced to death in 2005. The amount of evidence in this mans case was minute compared to Simpsons. Yet, Peterson, a white male, faces certain death. I dont know all the details of the case, but what I do know of the circumstancial evidence, which was light compared to simpson, i would say the jury was probably right.

Simpson had money to buy the most expensive defense team he could find. they turned it into a show, and the public loved it. For heavens sake he wrote a book about how he would have killed his wife and Goldman if he were to do it. Tell me, what kind of innocent man would even flirt with this idea? He is a man who’s conscience is eating him alive. Take off the race blinders and see it. OK IS GUILTY OF MURDERING TWO PEOPLE.

Now this new case. Again, spiraling down hill as he is a criminal and continues to act like one. Anyone that leads a posse in a hotel room and knows guns are involved should go to jail, whether white, black, korean, chinese. PERIOD.

The justice system failed the first time on OJ and likely they will throw the book at him on this one. But do we let him go free just because of his race? I dont think so. I say hit him as hard as you can so he grows up and starts acting like a 61 year old man, and not like a complete idiot. of course, he is due his own judgement soon, the ultimate judgement. and he is living in his own sentence. I cant imagine the guilt he wrestles with having slaughtered two people. It is all over his face though.

Good riddance to this menace of society.

  3. Good for OJ, he deserves this

The law of universe says that if you are suffering from something it is because of your past mistakes and misdeed. Nature given a chance to OJ Simpson, but sooner or later he had to suffer for the heinous act he committed.
