Wow…. watching and actually being part of history vs. reading about it, is exhilarating. Barack Obama is the first African American candidate to lead a major party into a campaign for the Presidency. This is such a huge and pivotal point in American history indicative of the changes occurring in the minds and hearts of the people.

Glad to know that Obama got it! Well, hope to see some changes and it’s the first that African American will lead the major party.
I have heard that Hillary is going to withdraw her competition.
Finally! I was so happy when I heard the news … and what made my day was Hillary finally accepting defeat and talking about becoming the vice president. We need the democratic party united if we want to beat McCain, and this is the first (and a huge one too!) step!
I can’t believe Barack actually became the democratic nominee. I only wish my grandmother was still alive to see it happen. Hopefully his winning streak last all the way until November.

Barrack Obama has really made me proud. This just proves how diverse our culture is here in the US and how approving we are of everyone. It will be a great day when he finally stands up and accepts the presidency should it happen.
