Do Police Lie On Reports and Steal From Suspects?

According to one cop, lying and stealing is the norm. I know this may come as a shocker to some, but many of us already knew the truth.  Yes, some police officers lie, steal, cheat, and beat!

Police Officer Keith Herrera speaks for the first time publicly about his former unit, the Special Operations Section. Its members are involved in one of the largest police scandals in Chicago history.

These cases often happen in my country, I hope Polices can do their jobs professionally.

I hate polices if they broke the rules!

  2. Sure. They lie totally when they feel that they might got caught.:P Have you any doubt on this point?

  3. Porch Lifts says:

I think there are many good police officers, but there are also many who abuse their authority, which is probably why they became officers in the first place. I believe there should be more accountability and more people like this officer.

  4. allen says:

I always wanted to be on a task force that was higher than the cops. One that would pull over a cop in his car, and write him a ticket for breaking the law.

  5. Sleep Aid says:

Its hard to fault these guys when they were so effective in bringing down the crime rate. Crime and especially gangs seems to be a growing problem and this type of tactic may be what is needed.

  6. I know all too well that the police are not always who we need them to be.
During a nasty divorce from my now ex-husband who was a deputy sheriff he was repeatedly allowed by the sheriff to break my civil rights as well as haress me. It went so far at one time that he pulled his gun on me and was threatening to kill us both. When told about his behavior the head sheriff replied that “His boy wouldn’t do that”.
There were many other incidents where he and his fellow deputies harassed me and kept tabs on me until eventually I gave up a great job and moved away.
    It happens!

  7. Sleep Aid people that break the law are deemed criminals right? If police officers are breaking laws to catch law breakers they too are criminals. These tactics are unacceptable. These cops don’t just do these things to criminals, innocent people are victimized too. We cannot turn a blind eye to crooked cops for the sake of crime rates going down…is it really going down when police are committing crimes too?

What about all of these shootings and beatings thats cops are involved in? Who polices cops?

This type of policing is not serving and protecting anyone

  8. Pearl says:

I've been the victim of lying police many times in my life. They cheat, make up stories, and pad their reports. They're nothing but a bunch of over-testoroned frat boys with power trips. They cheat on their wives, get free sex from hookers, and basically harass the common citizen. My father taught me to respect and honor the police. It wasn't until I becasme an adult (I'm 47) that I realized the truth. I do not respect the police in the U.S.and don't trust them at all; not with my safety, or to handle a investigation properly. Part II to follow

    Pearl's rant, Part 2

Remember these, these people aren't rocket scientists. They didn't go to college to become lawyers, doctors, architects…they wanted to spend their lives carring big ole' guns and bossing people around. I even dated a cop once, and I can attest to the fact that they are all narcissistic ego maniacs on a dangerous power trip. From a traffic ticket, to a criminal case, these guys care NOTHING about doing the right thing. They just want to rack up arrests so they can get more shiny metal pins to wear on there oh-so-important uniforms. Some state police look like the Gestapo from Nazi Germany (ever seen a RI state cop! Zeig Heil!) Part 3 follows

    Pearl's rant part 3:

Cops are right up their with attorneys as the lowest form of scum on earth. Truth is nothing but a dollar sign. And forget about them living by the rules they expect us to obey. Cops are overwhelmingly over-represented in domestic abuse situations. They carry guns when they shouldn't, and sometimes kill themelves, their kids, some even take out their parents. I also never met a male cop who wasn't a total chauvinistic pig. They don't respect women. Shall we talk about their drinking? They love pulling over normal tax paying citizens and scaring the hell out of them with threats of a drunk driving charge, but you'll never a cops kid get arrested for a DUI. Police parties are the biggest booze festts I have ever seen, and they ALL drive home drunk.Part 3 follows:

  11. Pearl says:

Okay, I have come to the end of my rant. Sort of. I've been a victim of a horrible injustice…it was over 2 years ago, but the legal ramifications will be with me for a while. It was the Massachusetts State Police, and they simple outright LIED. I have the proof, in black and white, but as they say "you can't fight city hall." I've talked to dozens of lawyers, and suing the police is an exercise in futility. Short of having them on video tape beating someone, (and even that gets excused) you will never win by taking on the cops. Stay away from them. Learn to protect yourself, and never, ever, EVER talk to a policeman unless a lawyer says you have. I know cops who have raped women, beaten black drivers, lied about DUI arrests, and made up information to save their own backsides. When I see a police vehicle, a shiver runs down my spine. Evil, dishonest, power-hungry animals. With guns. What a combination.

  13. Hadara Olga says:

I feel quite surprised when I heard of such things for the first time. But later I find this kind of thing happens often!

  14. Alex says:

Such a shame. Who should we trust if we can trust the police??

  15. Kershaw Cty Victim says:

Kershaw County Sheriff Department, Lugoff, SC, deputies lie, stalk, steal, false reports, refuse to take reports, intimidate, and batter victims. These intimidation tactics escalade when the victim stands up for their rights and exposes the officers of their malfeasances. The Kershaw County Sheriff Department uses intimidation tactics and bulling to shut up the victims and make the Sheriff's life easier.

Captain Thomley encourages the Kershaw County Sheriff Department staff to bully certain individuals and their complaints when the officers have lied.

Sheriff McCaskill encourages Kershaw County Sheriff Department staff to make certain that victims "fall through the cracks" and intimidate them so that they do not lose Victim Advocate grants and funding.

  16. D Jones says:

Cops are a dangerous gang. NO QUESTION to help fix the problem cops should only be allowed to serve 4 yrs. That way the gang stops. Three of my clients are cops and it saddens me the way they love to brag about abuse. Until Andy or Matt return cops are mostly criminals.
