Myspace Security Alert
Last month Myspace.com rolled out its data availability user interface enabling Myspace users to share information such as pictures, videos etc…from their profiles across the Internet, or at least on Yahoo, Twitter, Photobucket, and Ebay.
Of course this seemed like a great idea at the time to the folks at Myspace…Apparently they were unaware of a serious security glitch in the system. It seems that profiles set to private on Myspace aren’t so private after all. Celebs on myspace have discovered that their private photos from their private Myspace profiles have been leaked all over the Internet. Yup, celebs really do have and check Myspace pages.
Supposedly, the problem has been resolved and the data availability interface has been deactivated. The lesson in this is, if you don’t want it seen, don’t put it on Myspace; even if your profile is set to private. Is there really any privacy online any more?

That surprises me to learn that celebrities use myspace as a place to store private photos. I knew that a lot of them used it for marketing, but I would have figured that it was just done by some pr firm for them.
In regards to privacy online, it is in many cases an oxymoron and once something is on the internet, there is seldom a way to remove it…

Why would celebs store private photos on the internet? Heck, I don’t even think storing them on a laptop is safe let alone the internet.

Not a surprise, I hate going on myspace now. As soon as I log on my computer slows down, heavy in weight. You can feel the spyware attaching itself on.
The only reason I’m keeping it - Senator Obama I do blogging and other things to help promote him.
Okay I know that was a mouthful.

I didnot know that celebs themselves put there pictures on the net on sites like myspace. i always thought that all the pictures came from paparazzis. I think i have to go through the celebs profiles now. lol. yeah its a nice advice if you dont upload your private pics and videos , you will always be protacted.

In my opinion Celebs who put there pictures on hi5 and make it private . i think they are trying to play with fire by doing so. In this world there are smarter people than you might guess, they may be able to hack or crack anything.

Really that applies anywhere on the internet. If you want it private don’t put it or send it anywhere.

the breach of a star’s personal life is like fashion nowadays, more gossips about the concerned star , more media, paparazzi and hence more popularity
