The Bahamas is a favorite vacation spot and there are first class amenities for tourists. The Mayan Temple Slides at the Royal Towers are water slides, one of which is a clear tunnel that goes through a lagoon filled with sharks.
The Dig is a delightful attraction for people interested in marine life. It contains various aquariums located underneath the lobby at the Royal Towers and is the largest open-air marine environment in the world. Species on view include sharks, manta rays, jellyfish, stingrays and barracudas.

I have always wanted to go to Bahamas myself, but it has so far never become a reality. I have been fascinated with Mayan (and similar) culture since I was a kid. Maybe on my next vacation I'll get the chance to see this first hand though…

I agree, Atlantis at Paradise Island is the nicest resort in the Bahamas. I will be going back to the Bahamas for vacation next year and will stay in the Atlantis at Paradise Island once again. They have great activities for adults and for children and it is probably the nicest resort I have ever stayed at. Thanks for the great review of the place, now I know even more fun activities to partake in.
