Excellent article! I've had a hard time find good writeups on Anxiety symptoms and I must admit you've done a great job. Kudos. Recently, my sister suffered a panic attack while on our way back from a relative's funeral. It's really frightening how a panic attack is similar to a heart attack. Never ignore any signs just because it doesn't look life threatening. At the end of the day, always remember to let the doctor be the person to decide. Not you.

Cathy, a beautifully articulate post on the symptoms. Believe it or not, the bulk of my clients are aware of their symptoms being "anxiety" until they visit their GP.
Thanks,
Dr Andrew Power
