They Know Where YOU Live
Perhaps you have seen this before, but for those of you that haven’t…this might scare the hell out of you. If you have an address you want to scope out (or if someone has YOUR address and wants to scope your house out), you can do it quick, easy, and free using Google’s Street View. When you type in the address, you see a map… but the map will have a little box with an actual photo. When you click street view, that’s exactly what you get a real street view!
Here’s an example:

Wow, that is kind of creepy… you can see in the windows of buildings! I looked into the window of a building at a person on a laptop in Providence, RI!
I always wonder if satellites are zooming in on us and taking pictures… I’m a paranoid conspiracy freak and these sorts of things creep me out.

Very scary and an invasion of privacy!

It is kinda creepy, however I think it is a pretty cool idea. I have used Google Streets View in order to find exactly where i need to go with directions.

How does the camera rotate 360 degrees in the middle of the street?

Yeah, Google maps, rocks.

Yeah, but those pictures are old. I looked up my dads house and it showed a car parked in the driveway that he hasnt owned for over a year now.

Yeah, love to play with that. You can get down and personal. However, it is only an image taken from time to time. Yes, you are always being watched. Just imagine the UK, they have video cams everywhere. . .
We just have them way up in the sky

How far will it go? I don’t understand why they need real street views. Has it ever happened when someone’s face was there? Why can’t they just do model houses or something?

Yep, I think those pictures are old. I looked up my friends house and it showed a car parked in the driveway that he hasnt owned for over a year now. And even these pics rock.

Wow… This is cool but then again scary. Soon you’ll be able to send your friend an SMS with a picture of him while being 500 miles away.
