It is only through prayer that we make a personal connection with God. The daily prayer brings hope and peace in the mind of man. A prayer cleans the soul and makes the person pure as a child. The clear conscious of man brings love, peace and joy in the life.

"Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart."

  12. Luke says:

God doesn't want us to pray to him to feel warm and cozy inside. He just wants us to talk to him and stay in his word and walk by faith. It's to seek his will for decisions we make in our lives. I do not like this list. God isn't mentioned very much i mean…that's what it's all about.

  13. M. Luther King Jr once said "To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing."

  14. 2010 Is here and there's plenty to pray about. War, disease, disasters, one might think the world was about to end! I know that strong Faith will see us through all hardship.

  15. Michelle Tull says:

What I learnt about prayer is that it should be God exalting. Why? All things were created for God's glory! Prayer is a sign of obedience to God, the Father. It is also an expression of our dependence on God through requests. God's will is that we ask Him for things and by His grace and His mercy, God delights to meet our every need. Finally and remarkably, the prayers of the Saints is the instrument God uses to usher in the end of the world with great divine judgments (Rev. 8 1-5). All Christians therefore need to pray more earnestly, more consistently with God's will, knowing that not one God-exalting prayer has ever been in vain.
