Everyone in the Los Angeles, Orange County and Inland Empire areas tune into KNBC Channel 4 and KVEA Channel 52 on Saturdays around 8 pm to check out Compton’s own “Mad Mike” Martin from MTV’s “Pimp My Ride“.
The new show is called, “Whipnotic” and will feature Mad Mike in a segment called, “Ballin On A Budget” where he will show car enthusiast how to pimp their rides on a budget of $2000.
The show also features product reviews from Cali based Al & Eds Auto sound and a segment for women called, “Mechanics For Women” along with the hottest car and motorcycle clubs, shows and racing scenes around town.

$2,000 would be nice. Pimp my Ride kind of lost it’s appeal after a while, since there was no way you could do anything like that yourself without at least $10,000.
Awesome, sounds like a really great spinoff for “serious” car/bike enthusiasts, not just the teen crown who watches MTV regardless of whether or not Pimp My Ride is on… Hope it really takes off!
