The Get Out the Vote Campaign is in full swing in California. I think we can expect to see Barack Obama’s momentum surge even more. Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Caroline Kennedy are holding a rally this Super Bowl Sunday in Los Angeles.

After spending all week in bed (no thanks to the flu) I intend to be front and center at this rally to hear what these women have to say. In my 33 years, I have never attended a rally for any presidential candidate. After the 2000 election debacle I had really lost all hope and faith in the election process. What a difference 8 years makes. Yes, change is in the air!

There are lots of possibilities and indeed, I know Obama can make a good president because it has already been proven by the tremendous organizations and bringing together of different groups, especially the youths who are the torchbearers of what America can be. If the possibilities are made tangible, I know that the measure of all his decisions will be base on the constitution and the Bill of Rights, which have compelled many to see America as being GREAT.

Oprah Winfrey is a fraud and so is Obama. She is a traitor and I have succeeded today and having all her endorsed books banned from a very large store here. I will continue to write and boycott every single one of her sponsors. I think she split the party by pushing Obama over a highly qualified woman and sent a terrible message to young women.

I hope she is happy though because my grandmother who has cancer waited ALL HER LIFE to see a qualified woman president and all she will live to see and a flashy young male with much less experience take the job. Thanks a lot Oprah. I’m soooo glad rich people always get their way.

If you think this will be forgotten you are sorely mistaken you pompous ASS and sorry excuse for a woman.

Your network will fail in fact in the words of another woman who was abused “Till you do right by me everything you even think about gonna FAIL.” You wait and see. Karma Oprah, Karma.

Wow Susannah. You almost sound like a jilted lover. Were you an Oprah fan before she endorsed Barack Obama? I can understand you not liking her decision but to call Oprah a fraud seems a bit much. Please share specifics as to how Oprah is a fraud….her support for Barack Obama and book authors does not add up to fraud.

I am sorry to hear about your grandmother’s health. However, just as your grandmother may have waited all of her life to see a qualified woman president, MINE has waited all of hers to see a qualified African American president! As a matter of fact my grandmother had to pass math tests in Louisiana for the right to even vote under Jim Crow laws…Her grandmother’s mother was a slave. So Susannah your grandmother is not the only one who has waited for such a time as this!

You say that Barack Obama is a fraud, I bet dollars to donuts that you are unfamiliar with his record, history, and background. Fraud is a serious charge….and if it is a charge that you want to make I suggest you look closer at Hillary Clinton, her campaign, her plan for health care and who has contributed to her campaign! After some thorough research come back and let us know the true fraud.

That Color Purple quote is hilarious. As far as concerned I’m concerned…Oprah has done right for millons of people…thats why everything she touches succeeds. So for whatever word curses you and others throw at Oprah, Barack Obama, and/or his campaign I say this:

NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEM SHALL PROSPER!

I feel a lot of sympathy for this woman for her misguided and misdirected sentiments. It pains me, as with others that her Grandmother has had to endure the agony of a debilitating disease. But no amount of consoling can make up for the diatribe she has launched against Ms. Winfrey and Senator Obama. You are correct that calling someone a “Fraud” is a very serious charge. I would hope that after reflection the author would reformulate her opinion and post a follow up comment.

the most important thing for us in this race is to have the most qualified person, who can unify the country and get us back on the right path the peace and prosperity, elected. As the current polls show, Sen. Obama is that person. I sincerely pray and hope her Grandmother does not endure any pain and suffering but feels satisfaction that we, as well as Sen. Obama I am sure and many others wish her the best.

i’m still wondering why all the hype re: oprah and caroline kennedy…one is a celebrity busybody and obsessive self-promoter, the other was ‘well bred’-i’m supposed to be swayed by their opinions? ‘change is in the air’…so is smoke; the kind the obama campaign keeps trying to blow up our collective butts

That What is the invisible difference between man and man is what is bringing about the difference in the world of politics. Obama winning or not the game politics will never be the same again. What the networks need do is preach those policy they want they can implment to bring change in their lives, in america, europe and Africa. Obama the miracle of 2008. the miracle is done sadly only people with eyes can see. not surprised didnt He said they have eyes but cannot see.
