How Are You?

I talk to my grandmother every day. Our telephone conversations begin something like this:

Me: Hi Grandmother, how are you?

Grandmother: Hi Renda. I’m blessed and highly favored. How are you?

Me: Good, I’m glad to hear it. I’m blessed and highly favored too.

Then we proceed with our conversation… We began answering the ‘how are you’ question with ‘I’m blessed and highly favored’ about a year ago… before it was: ‘I’m fine, and you?’

Since making the conscious change in my thinking and how I now respond to the question ‘how are you’, I literally see a difference in my every day life. Once again, it’s a confirmation of the power of our words. I am blessed and highly favored is a powerful and positive affirmation!

Positive
1. explicitly stated, stipulated, or expressed: a positive acceptance of the agreement.
2. admitting of no question: positive proof.
3. stated; express; emphatic: a positive denial.
4. confident in opinion or assertion; fully assured: He is positive that he will win the contest.

Affirmation
1. the act or an instance of affirming; state of being affirmed.
2. the assertion that something exists or is true.
3. something that is affirmed; a statement or proposition that is declared to be true.
4. confirmation or ratification of the truth or validity of a prior judgment, decision, etc.
5. Law. a solemn declaration accepted instead of a statement under oath.

To experience and live life abundantly your answer to ‘how are you’ must always be affirmed positively!

BlessedandHighlyFavoredWhen I first started responding with ‘I’m blessed and highly favored’ it began as a positive affirmation or statement of faith (the substance of things hoped for evidence not seen). The more I said it,

the more I believed it,

the more I believed it,

the more I received it,

the more I believed and received it,

the more it began manifesting in all areas of my life.

The next time someone asks ‘how are you?’ think about your answer long and hard before responding. The words you speak out of your own mouth shape and form your state of being. You can be fine, ok, hanging in there, doing the best that you can, or blessed and highly favored. It’s up to you. What you say is what you get!

Note: As the proverb goes —”Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.”

If you believe in the law of attraction, you know that by expecting good you attract good. This principle directly applies to speaking.

If you believe in God, you know that whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Choose your words wisely. I confidently and boldly say I am blessed and highly favored because I am! So are you!
