Last night I saw this funny Trojan Condom commercial featuring a chick in a bar and a pig. Apparently this is part of Trojans evolve campaign to increase awareness about sexual health. Trojan asserts that “America is not a sexually healthy nation.”

It seems that the pig represents Americans (lol)…pigs are generally associated with being filthy or dirty…so to evolve from being pigs, Americans should use condoms (Trojan condoms…at least that seems to be the point to me). The more I think about it though with the whole pig imagery its almost great for an abstinence PSA.

Hopefully for Trojan shareholders and for the sake of America’s sexual health, these pigs can sell condoms.

Safer Sex To live life abundantly means to honor and respect your body. Every decision we make directly impacts our lives. We must evolve and make better wiser decisions in every area of our lives… including and especially our sex lives. Clearly the safest sex is no sex but when no sex isn’t a realistic option for your life protect yourself and your partner (one of you could’ve been a pig in a previous life lol)

Well man are pigs, there is no doubt about that I did not need Trojan to tell me that. It is a good campaign though.

I think this post is cool. Although i don’t fully agree with Trojan and their campaign to ‘Sell Condoms.’

If women don’t reinforce safe sex then the men will be more inclined to do the same. You want to sell sex because you truly care about the sexual health of a nation, then do it through women (the catalyst) instead of the men. Women buy condoms too, it’s not a man’s world and that ideology should be killed, buried and forgotten.

I guarantee that if a woman is a true safe sex woman, then they guy will use a condom.

The bottom line is that if we don’t live right, then we will become at risk of getting a STD as a consequence of having mulitple sex partners instead of marrying and being comitted to one person. As harsh as that may sound, no one seems to think that Fornication is wrong these days. The bible clearly teaches that it is wrong in Galatians 5-16-21 and 1Corinthians 6 9-11. We must deny ourselves first, stop walking in the flesh, and basically become BORN AGAIN.

LOL call me conservative but I am not really sure (before) why men are being compared to pigs. Thanks to this post. Now I know.

Though I live in a very conservative catholic country where “sex before marriage” is a boo-boo, I still believe that (unmarried) couple should use “condom” if they can’t afford to go on abstinence, they should use condom. This may sound as cliché but “An ounce of prevention is worth over a pound of cure.”

why hasn’t there been a post here in a while. I think this is a great topic. just saw an ad saying that 4 out of 5 adults carry the HPV virus. of course they didn’t mention there are 48 stands of the virus.

Anthony makes a good point. Sex should be reserved for marriage. Fornication is a sin as the scriptures clearly state. Nevertheless, seeing how there will always be sex before marriage, the least you can do is be safe.

I was actually looking for some bacterial vaginosis treatment and all I got was this blog about condoms for pigs and I LOVE IT! It reminds me so much of our political leaders and greedy bunch of humanoids and they were being portrayed on the songs “Piggies” by The Beatles and “Pigs (3 Different Ones)” by Pink Floyd! Makes me wanna spit at ‘em!!!!

This page caught my eye, even though I was looking at something else at first. At first I had this horribe vision of some poor person having to place a condom on a pig, then I though “no” there must be better ways of preventing prgnancy in pigs.
