It is easy to say don´t worry when you are fine. The problem starts when your mind has inertia and is used to worrying all the time. I think those steps can calm a troubled mind and direct attention to better ends. Thanks for the post.

Interesting perspective Lucas regarding step 3 and Romans 4:17. Speaking those things that are not as though they are is indeed biblical…

The Bible says THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].

Jesus said:

“he that believeth in Me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto My Father.”

“whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and so whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”

“Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, `Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
