Is Botulism the only thing we should be concerned with as it relates to canned meat? Is it just me or are the preservatives that give can goods long and in some claims “indefinite” shelf life scary?
Food Recall Gets Bigger
A Georgia meat processor expanded its recall of canned meat products that may be connected to a botulism outbreak. Castleberry’s Food Co. of Augusta recalled more than 80 types of canned chili, beef stew, corned beef hash and other meat products over the weekend, in addition to the 10 brands it recalled Thursday.
